A place to write things down

What I want this corner of the internet to be, and what you can expect to find here.

I’ve had this domain for a while. The site started as a Hugo project, picked up a portfolio theme, and never really became what I wanted it to be: somewhere to write.

So I’ve rebuilt it around that idea.

What belongs here

I work with Kubernetes, Linux, and platform infrastructure. I want to write about the problems that come with operating those systems, the reasoning behind technical decisions, and experiments that are still taking shape.

That might mean a short troubleshooting note, a comparison of a few approaches, or a longer exploration of a platform design. It might also mean something outside infrastructure. This is a personal site, so I want to leave that door open.

There won’t be a fixed article length or a posting schedule. A useful observation can stand on its own. A more complicated subject can take a few posts.

Showing the working

For troubleshooting posts, I want to explain how I got from an observation to a conclusion: what I checked, what the evidence supported, and what remained uncertain.

For lab work, I’ll make clear what I’ve actually tried and what is still an idea. An unfinished experiment can still leave something useful for the next person, or for me when I return to it.

The site itself

It’s still Hugo, hosted on GitHub Pages, now with a small set of templates of my own. The colors come from Gruvbox Dark, which I’ve used in my terminal for years.

You can follow new posts through RSS. If something here raises a question, you can get in touch.
